KATHERINE HONG
I am a final-year DPhil candidate in Philosophy at the University of Oxford working on higher-order metaphysics and the metaphysics of properties under the supervision of Prof Timothy Williamson and Prof Gonzalo Rodriguez-Pereyra. I was awarded a Clarendon Scholarship by the University of Oxford for the DPhil and a Jacobsen Bursary from the Royal Institute of Philosophy for 2023-4. Previously, I completed a BA in Literae Humaniores and the BPhil in Philosophy at the University of Oxford.
I have broad research interests in metaphysics, philosophical logic, philosophy of language, and ancient philosophy. I wrote my BA and BPhil theses on the image of the Cave in Plato's Republic under the supervision of Prof Luca Castagnoli.
